Thessaloniki is the second largest city in all of Greece, and is an important port city on the Greek mainland. The Romans, Byzantines and the Ottomans all once called Thessaloniki home.
George Zongopoulos’ Umbrellas were set up on the new waterfront in 1997, when Thessaloniki was the Cultural Capital of Europe.
In the spirit of being back in Greece, I thought I would share a video I made last time I was here. I love making videos of trips and experiences because I think it is a great way to transport yourself back to moments and hold on to the feelings of new places and experiences. I often look back on this video and am reminded why I love to travel. Greece is such beautiful country with so many different things to offer. I hope you enjoy this little preview of the country.
